Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Celpip Plus (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Celpip Plus platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account or otherwise accessing the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.

Celpip Plus is an AI-powered CELPIP exam preparation platform that provides practice materials, scored exercises, vocabulary tools, mock exams, and AI-generated score feedback across the Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills assessed in the CELPIP exam.

The Service is intended as a supplementary study tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to Paragon Testing Enterprises, the organization responsible for administering the CELPIP exam.

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), to create an account and use the Service. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

The Service is available worldwide, subject to applicable local laws. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all laws and regulations applicable to you in your jurisdiction.

To access most features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with others.
• Notify us immediately at support@celpipplus.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or that have been used in violation of these Terms.

Celpip Plus offers a free tier and paid subscriptions. Paid plans are billed weekly, monthly, or quarterly, as selected at the time of purchase, in US dollars. Every paid plan includes the same features; they differ only in billing period and in how many Writing and Speaking responses may be submitted for AI evaluation in each period.

• Auto-renewal. Every paid plan is a subscription and renews automatically at the end of each billing period — weekly, monthly, or quarterly — unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. No plan is a one-time purchase.
• Price changes.We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any price changes before they take effect.
• Refunds. All payments are final and no refunds are issued except where required by applicable law. The free tier exists so you can evaluate the scoring before entering a card.
• Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Payment processing is handled by Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Our AI-powered scoring system analyzes your practice responses and provides estimated CELPIP scores (on the 1–12 scale) and per-criterion feedback. These estimates are designed to help you identify areas for improvement and should not be relied upon as a predictor of your actual exam performance.

Official CELPIP scores can only be obtained by taking an official CELPIP test administered by Paragon Testing Enterprises. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated scores.

All content on the Service — including practice passages, questions, audio materials, AI feedback, design elements, and software — is owned by or licensed to Celpip Plus and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your own exam preparation. You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any content from the Service.
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or collect content.
• Sell, sublicense, or share your account or subscription access with others.
• Create derivative works based on content without our express written permission.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use the Service in connection with any commercial purpose other than your own exam preparation without our written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate this policy, without notice and without refund.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Celpip Plus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: lost profits, data loss, failure to achieve a particular exam score, or immigration outcomes.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada. If you are a consumer and your local laws provide additional protections, those protections are not excluded by this clause.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
